The Ballajura Community Garden is a joint project between Ballajura Community College and Rotary International with support from stakeholders CCY Inc.and the City of Swan. The garden was officially launched on Friday 19 August with the unveiling of a plaque by the Hon Rita Saffioti MLA, Member for West Swan and the Hon. Dr Anne Aly, MP Member of Cowan. Attendees from a range of organisations and community groups including Cr Mel Congerton Deputy Mayor, City of Swan and Adam Kovalevs, BCC Board Chair joined us in the unveiling. A huge thank you to College staff and students, in particular Carol Findlay and Sam Mesiti,CEO of CCY Inc.for organising this fantastic event.
