Two Year 12 students spoke to ABC Perth about their bronze win at the National Secondary Schools Culinary Competition.
Students excitedly gathered at the gym at lunch yesterday to cheer on teams playing basketball and netball.
Students had the opportunity to learn about traditional Indigenous games such as like kai and buroinjin.
This year’s event was a special service because a number of Aboriginal soldiers in WWI who gave their lives were finally given official recognition for their sacrifice.
Students were invited to create purple flowers representing the Stolen Generation commemorative flower – the five-petal Desert Rose.
Follow the Dream students had a visit from a rising star in the current Perth Wildcats team, Elijah Pepper.
Community Connecting Youth Inc. (CCY) generously donated to BCC to fund a variety of initiatives including the installation of new art pieces and garden enhancements.
The school community came together at recess today to mark this special occasion with joy, togetherness, and lots of delicious food.
