Year 11 Student Nominated for ‘NAWIC Student of the Year’

During the school holidays, I had the privilege of attending the National Awards for Women in Construction at Crown, celebrating the achievements of women across WA.

We’re proud to share that Chloe M, currently completing a Certificate II in Plumbing (Pre-Apprenticeship) at NMTAFE through the Construction Training Fund, was nominated for the NAWIC Student of the Year Award.

Chloe’s lecturer, Daniel, praised her leadership and teamwork: “While she’s a quiet individual, Chloe leads by example in both the classroom and workshop, always supporting her peers and fostering a positive learning environment.”

Although Chloe didn’t take home the award, her nomination is a remarkable achievement. She should be incredibly proud of her efforts and the recognition she’s earned. With her sights set on an apprenticeship, Chloe has a bright future ahead of her in the construction industry.

Congratulations to Chloe, her family, and Daniel, who were all there to celebrate this special moment.
