“Those we love don’t go away, they walk beside us every day” so today we gathered to be respectful and pay tribute to those who defended our values and freedoms, and to honour those who continue to serve our country today.
We remember those who made the sacrifice for us in the time of war and we dedicate our thoughts to the cause for freedom and peace to build a better world.

Remembrance Day signifies the 11th Hour of the 11th Day of the 11th Month when hostilities ceased on the Western Front during World War One. It has since become universally associated with the remembrance of those who have died in the wars, conflicts and peacekeeping operations.
Symbolising the beauty and brevity of life, members of the community laid wreaths to honour the brave men and women who have lost their lives in wars.
As a community we will strive to carry on the legacy of bravery and dedication and always strive to live in a way that honours their memory.
Lest we forget.
