We’re proud to announce our 2026 Captains and Vice Captains! Each student has shared a few words to introduce themselves and their plans for their new role.
2026 Captain

Hi, my name is Yasmin. I have been a student at Ballajura Community College since 2021 and have been part of the Student Council since 2022. I am honoured to have been elected as your 2026 College Captain, and I hope to perform my duties to the best of my abilities. My friends and teachers describe me as dedicated, friendly, and always willing to help others.
Being part of Ballajura Community College has truly been a journey of growth both socially and academically, and I’m so grateful for the lessons, friendships, and experiences I’ve gained along the way. I am thankful for all the opportunities, memories, and achievements I’ve gained at BCC.
In my new role as College Captain in 2026, I hope to create more exciting events and opportunities for students to look forward to, ensure every voice is heard and valued, and make 2026 a memorable and positive year for everyone.
2026 Captain

Hello everyone, I’m Dilith, a Year 11 student at Ballajura Community College. My time at BCC has been an enriching experience, in which I continue to learn from.
As College Captain in 2026, my goal is to lead by example and to represent my cohort, advancing values of respect, unity, and a collective vision. I’m committed to my responsibilities and ensuring the student voice is heard and acknowledged.
I believe true and absolute leadership is the service I perform to both my peers and teachers, in which I endeavour to inspire others to lead with integrity, pursue excellence, and contribute meaningfully to our school’s society.
2026 Vice-Captain

Hello! I’m Ethan, the Vice-Captain for 2026. I’ve been on the Council for three years in a row now, and if anything, it has taught me that it means a lot to have a say in what goes on here at BCC.
I have quite thoroughly enjoyed my time at the College and kind of stunned to find myself entering Year 12 next year!
As Vice-Captain, I want to help the other members of the council produce and implement their ideas as well as trying to connect students to teachers more effectively.
2026 Vice-Captain

Hello, my name is Fiona, and I am a Year 11 student at Ballajura Community College.
I am incredibly honoured to take on the role of Vice Captain in 2026, a position that represents both great responsibility and leadership. During my time at BCC, I’ve had the privilege of learning from dedicated teachers and forming strong connections with supportive classmates, all of whom have helped me grow both academically and personally.
Being part of this community has taught me the importance of our REACH values – Respect, Equity, Achievement, Care, and Health – which I will continue to uphold throughout my leadership journey.
As Vice Captain, I hope to lead by example and be someone my peers can trust and turn to. I look forward to contributing to school events, supporting student voices, and helping make Ballajura Community College an even more encouraging environment for all staff and students.
