Day in the Life – Health and Nursing TAFE Course

Having completed my Certificate IV in Preparation for Health and Nursing Studies at North Metro TAFE over the last year and a half, I can say that it was worth every minute.

During my time at TAFE, I studied units in Anatomy and Physiology, Physics and Chemistry, Academic Skills, Microbiology, Medical Terminology, Business documents, and Mathematics. These units were structured well and the lecturer made it easy to understand and complete all tasks.

Assessments were frequent and the course work at times, was full on, but it was more than possible if you maintained your focus in class and completed the work as it was assigned to you. I personally, only had homework once throughout the entirety of my course.

As a bonus, this course not only looks good for university nursing pathway options, but you may use it to get a job in aged care and assisted nursing.

This certificate is 100% achievable to anyone willing to put in the effort and I would recommend any health course to students looking at courses in health or nursing in the future.
