BCC Junior Boys Advance to Quarter Finals with Dominant Second Half Performance

In Week 2 of the Champion Schools Shield knock-out competition, Ballajura Community College’s Junior Boys faced a formidable challenge against Cannington in the Round of 16.

The first half was a tightly contested affair, with both sides creating chances but unable to break the deadlock, heading into halftime at 0-0.

Following a strategic reshuffle by Mr Rooney, the Balla Boyz returned to the pitch with renewed energy and focus.

The impact was immediate—Liam, fresh off the bench, netted two quick goals to give BCC a commanding 2-0 lead. Momentum continued to swing in BCC’s favour as Yasir calmly converted a controversial penalty to make it 3-0. With ten minutes remaining, Saif sealed the victory with a well-taken fourth goal.
