Ms McKnight’s Year 9 music class visited Leederville TAFE for the Song Factory program.
In the morning, Tom from Hen House Studios took the students on a tour of the TAFE campus including the recording studios and Boom Radio Station. He then taught the students how to ‘build a mix’ of a song using digital and analogue technology.
In the afternoon, Daz supported the students to set up and run their own live performance. This included sound checks, lighting displays and playing the instruments. The students’ version of Seven Nation Army rocked!!
