Yesterday was an incredible day celebrating our Māori and Islander Cultural Day!
A huge thank you to Mr. Joe White for leading such engaging and meaningful activities throughout the day. Students and staff enjoyed the cultural workshops and were treated to an amazing Hangi during lunchtime. The aromas, energy, and spirit of the day truly brought our community together.
A special thank you to the parents who helped throughout the day, our Islander students who worked tirelessly to make the event such a success, and all members of the Design and Technologies and Student Services teams for their incredible support and effort behind the scenes. Your contributions and pride in the day made it truly memorable.
Thank you to everyone who participated so enthusiastically. It was wonderful to see our students embracing and learning about Māori and Islander culture with such respect and excitement.
