Ballajura Community College is looking forward to welcoming next year’s Year 7 students with a fun and informative orientation day to be held this Term.

Thursday December 7 will see Year 6 students from South Ballajura and Illawarra Primary Schools visit, and on Friday December 8 it will be Ballajura and Alinjarra Primary Schools’ turn. Students from various other schools will also be invited to attend.

After the Principal’s introduction, students will get the feel of a normal College day, starting with a tour of the College under the guidance of our Year 9 Peer Mentors. This will be followed by a varied timetable, with students moving between different classrooms for sessions on Design and Technology, Information Technology , Art, Science, Media, Physical Education, Music and Dance.

The orientation days also give the Year 6s a chance to become familiar with the layout of the College, ahead of their first day in 2018.
