As a community member of the Board Bill’s commitment to community life is shown in his service as a career Reserve Soldier for 33 years for which he was recognised with the Award of the Reserve Forces Decoration. His keen interest in the military led him to become active in the RSL and he served eleven years as State President of the WA Branch.
Bill also holds The Medal of the Order of Australia for services to Surf Lifesaving and was recently recognised for commitment and service to the community with the ‘Western Australian Lifetime Contribution to Volunteering Award’.
