Congratulations to Ballajura Community College’s Senior Concert Band on their excellent performance at the Western Australian Schools’ Senior Concert Band Festival 2018.

The band, under the direction of Claire Nankevill, received an ‘Excellent’ commendation in B Division at the State-side competition held at Churchlands Senior High School recently.

The annual four-day festival attracts entrants from schools across WA and is a great opportunity for our students to perform on stage to a large audience.

Next to compete at a State level will be the College choir, Ballatonix. The choir will compete at the Choral Festival to be held at Churchlands Senior High School on Sunday August 19 – good luck!

The Intermediate Concert Band is also focused on doing well in their next competition and are busily preparing for their festival. The band got together for an all-day rehearsal on Sunday August 12 and will compete on September 8. The College wishes you the best of luck in your performance.
