Consent2Go Event, Incursion, Excursion & Health Management System

Dear Parents / Caregivers,

Consent2Go Event, Incursion, Excursion & Health Management System

We are excited to announce that the College is now using Consent2Go to manage school events, incursions, excursions, camps and student medical information.  Consent2Go replaces the old paper approval process.

Consent2Go provides an easy and efficient way to respond to invitations for your child/children and ensures that the College has the most accurate and current information about your child/children to ensure the highest levels of care is provided.

What do you need to do?

When your child is next invited to an event, excursion or camp, you will receive an email from Ballajura Community College - [MCBSchools] admin@mcbschools.com.  We recommend you add this email address to your Safe Senders list to avoid not receiving invitations.

The title of the email will be “Ballajura Community College – Excursion / Incursion name for CHILDs NAME”

Please follow the instructions in the email to advise if your child is

  • Attending/Not Attending
  • Verify parent information
  • Verify health and medical information

A detailed step-by-step process is attached to assist you with completing the necessary information.

Should you require assistance whilst you’re completing the required information, please click the ‘Need Help’ button to contact the Consent2Go support team.

Once you have completed this initial process, the ease and convenience of this solution will begin to provide real advantages and time savings for parents/guardians. Ongoing medical updates, and the provision of consent to attend camps and excursions, will be user-friendly and efficient.

Medical Information

When asked to do so within Consent2Go, if your child has a medical condition please click Yes and Add Medical Condition for each separate condition and complete the information about the medical condition.  The College requires you to upload medical management documents/action plans for all students who suffer from asthma, anaphylaxis, diabetes and epilepsy/seizures.  While some of this information may be similar to what you have previously provided, it is important that we have the most up to date information for your child.

Tips to assist with easily completing the process

There are a few things that will assist in easy completion of the form:

  • Have your Medicare card details available
  • Know your current doctor's practice name, address and phone number
  • Know your Private Health insurer, policy type and number
  • Have a copy of your child’s medical condition action plan ready to upload (if applicable)
  • Have a copy of your child’s vaccination records ready to upload

Swimming Ability

Please provide us with information on your child’s current swimming ability and record their highest level of swimming certificate (if obtained). You can also add commentary relating to your child’s swimming ability in this section.

Photograph/Video Consent

You will be asked to consent to the College’s use of imagery containing students in school photos, publications, communications and marketing.  It is important for parents to know that if you DO NOT agree, your child will not be featured in any school photos and therefore, there will not be any visual record of their journey at the College. This consent relates to photos of sports teams, carnivals, excursions, open days etc.

Thank you for helping us ensure we have all the information required to support your child’s wellbeing
