Congratulations to Mrs Margaret Prior on being awarded the AASE WA Award 2018 by the Australian Association of Special Education.

Mrs Prior has been the Teacher in Charge of Education Support at Ballajura Community College since 2015 and will spend 2019 in Cairns, Queensland, working in Education Support.

Secretary of the AASE WA Chapter, Jenny Lockyer, commended Mrs Prior on her commitment to special education.

“Many nominations were received for members of school communities who go above and beyond to cater for students with special educational needs,” she wrote.

“The applications made it clear that there are many who are committed to providing quality education to advance the learning of students with special needs.”
