The Advanced Curriculum Enrichment program is unique amongst specialist programs because it is an umbrella structure which offers students the opportunity to demonstrate excellence in achievement across a range of curriculum areas: not only the traditional academic areas but also within the Arts, on the sporting field and in the local community. The Advanced Curriculum Enrichment program mirrors the College’s key values of Respect, Equity, Achievement, Care and Health.

Ballajura Community College’s Advanced Curriculum Enrichment Program provides a vibrant, high quality learning environment which ensures that intellectually talented students are challenged to reach their academic potential and find their personal style. Learning and teaching programs are tailored to the specialised needs of these students and offer a pathway to university and a lifelong career.

Year 7

Positions in the program are based on the results of placement tests.

Years 8, 9 and 10

Students placed according to previous year’s performance taken from

• Semester Reports
• Exam Results (where applicable)
• NAPLAN (where available).
